Milton’s epic poem about the Fall of Man. Paradise Lost is his celebrated masterpiece and tells the story of Adam and Eve’s temptation by charismatic Satan and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Comprised of books I and II, we are introduced to a monumental world full of the monstrous and fantastic. Whilst the poem is biblical in nature, the themes of pride and desire speak to the human condition. Milton also raises questions around the callousness of Christianity. This copy is from Cambridge University Press in 1924.

Delivery within the United Kingdom

We offer FREE UK delivery on all items. Orders under £500 are sent via Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery and you should expect to receive your item within 1-3 days. Orders over £500 are sent via Royal Mail “Special Delivery – before 1pm” next working day delivery guaranteed.

Delivery outside of the United Kingdom (Worldwide)

We offer FREE worldwide shipping.

Orders under £1500 are sent via Royal Mail “International Signed For” and you should expect to receive your item within 5-10 working days.

Orders over £1500 are sent via FedEx and you should expect to receive your item with 1-3 days. Local taxes and duties may apply.

*If your order is under £1500 but you would like your item shipped via FedEx, we can do this at an additional cost of £65.*
