Here we have a striking Art Deco longuard necklace. This unique oversized piece has been crafted from silver and showcases a vast array of pastel pink enamelled bars featuring subtly engraved decoration to create a sleek and geometric design. This type of craftsmanship highlights the era's attention to detail and elegance.

Longuard or muff chains were popularised during the Victorian era as a means to carrying practical objects such as fobs, keys or glasses but also precious items such a pendants or watches. The length of these chains is often between 40 and 60 inches meaning they can be doubled or tucked into a pocket. Such versatile historic pieces like this are fantastic additions to any jewellery collection.

Delivery outside of the United Kingdom (Worldwide)

We offer FREE worldwide shipping.

Orders under £1500 are sent via Royal Mail “International Signed For” and you should expect to receive your item within 5-10 working days.

Orders over £1500 are sent via FedEx and you should expect to receive your item with 1-3 days. Local taxes and duties may apply.
