Here we have an excellently crafted diamond snake ring dating back to the Edwardian period. A single round faceted old cut diamond sits rub-over set at the centre of an open face amidst the swirling serpent design. The snake itself has been set with a single row of milgrain set graduating rose cut diamonds; a theme which continues down either shoulder whilst at the head sits an additional, slightly smaller old cut diamond. All stones here have been finely set in platinum whilst the shank and backing has been crafted from contrasting 18ct yellow gold 

The snake ring peaked in popularity when Queen Victoria opted for a gold snake design set with rubies, diamonds, and an emerald for her engagement ring; a particularly unusual style. As time wore on, snake jewellery and other Ancient Egypt inspired pieces (such as insect jewellery) returned to fashion due to influences regarding the excavation of Tutankhamun’s tomb.

Delivery outside of the United Kingdom (Worldwide)

We offer FREE worldwide shipping.

Orders under £1500 are sent via Royal Mail “International Signed For” and you should expect to receive your item within 5-10 working days.

Orders over £1500 are sent via FedEx and you should expect to receive your item with 1-3 days. Local taxes and duties may apply.
